At the beginning of May 2010 the mixed choir of the Farnesiano Choir, directed by Mario Pigazzini, performed in two events organised by the "Emiliano-Romagnoli" Association in Stuttgart at the Sankt Eberhard Cathedral.

The Choir presented a varied programme, with masterpieces by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Scarlatti, Cimarosa, but also by Brahms and Johann Sebastian Bach, embracing a period of four centuries of polyphony from 1515 to 1976. The Farnesiano Choir from Piacenza responded to the call of the relatively young Emilia-Romagna association in Stuttgart, which organised the concert to raise funds for the victims in Haiti. This noble gesture did not shake the conscience of the citizens in the Swabian capital, but it gathered a larger audience for the concert performed in Reutlingen the day after.
The St. Eberhard Cathedral, located in the central Königstrasse, would undoubtedly have contained more of those hundred people who actually attended. However, they had the chance to enjoy 90 minutes of intense polyphony.
The grace of the various vocal performances of motets and sacred music has spurred the emotions of the attentive listeners, who eventually got involved by the passion of the 25 singers, masterfully conducted by Choirmaster Mario Pigazzini.
